Searching for an Associate Degree Online?

As a prospective college student, I have yet to choose my major. I can’t figure out if I want to pursue a career in criminal justice or education. While I know that they are two very different courses of study with very few similarities, I do need to make a decision soon. My mom suggested I consider picking one and then earning an associate degree online.

Associate Degree Online

After thinking about it, it certainly does sound like it may be a good idea. The way I see it, I can start learning about a particular subject, but not commit an entire 4 years of my life to a subject and then find it’s not for me. Can you imagine the money I’d spend?

Associate degree online programs also allow me to go to school from my own home! I can sit in my pj’s and go to class and not have to worry about showering! All I need is my computer and a working internet connection.

Since I can’t choose between two very different majors, I decided to look at a college that offers both of these as associate degree online programs. I learned that my first year is spent learning “core” courses, more liberal arts based while my second year is spent focusing on my major. This will allow me to get some fundamentals under my belt before committing to a career or even additional education to help me get ahead within my field.
